Wolves! Stars! Friends! Wolves!

The Wallowa Range in Eastern Oregon is an area of rugged beauty and unique history. It was the home of the Nez Perce tribe, it saw conflicts over logging, mining, and agriculture, and now it contains Eagle Cap, Oregon's largest wilderness area. Once exterminated, gray wolves are now crossing over from Idaho and reinhabiting the Wallowas. Signal Fire plans to test out our first-ever backpacking retreat in the Wallowas in late August.
